Lead, OrBNaV - Orbiter-assisted Balloon Navigation for Venus Exploration

Trupti Gosavi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering with Honors in Aerospace Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, India, and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has 5+ years of experience in industry and academic environments focused on Finite Element Analysis, design and development of electromechanical systems, lean manufacturing, and supply chain management. She is interested in taking a deep dive into applications of orbit design and optimization and satellite navigation for future deep space explorations while pursuing a Ph.D. at West Virginia University.
