Brycen Pearl is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. He has worked as a laboratory instructor and assistant for various experiments in physics, chemistry, and thermodynamics, as well as conducting research in spectroscopy during his career at West Virginia Wesleyan College.  His research interests include space and satellite logistics, including satellite constellation design and utilization for Earth observation as well as cutting-edge utilization of satellite attitude control and orbital transfer maneuvers for constellation reconfiguration. While studying at West Virginia University, he is researching the application of constellation reconfigurability for Earth-observing satellite constellations applied to natural disaster monitoring and response.
