Dominic Amato

Dominic Amato is a first year Master’s student pursuing a M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering with a core area focus in dynamics and controls. Dominic is from Honesdale, PA and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from WVU in May of 2024. During his Junior and Senior year of undergraduate, Dominic worked on the Cislunar Space Domain Awareness team of the Space Systems Operations Research Lab. Dominic was also a member of the COSMOS capstone team which designed and built a SmallSat to be used for educational purposes in upper highschool and early college courses. Dominic’s current research interests include constellation reconfiguration using low thrust maneuvers in the cislunar domain.
